What Good Is Traffic Without Relationships?
What is the real reason people are so afraid of marketers? I know that whenever I meet a network marketer, I typically run the other way.
Why?
Mainly because they seem to have only one solution to whatever problem you or your friends may be having. Their Company!
“I have the worst hangnail…”
“Wow, Micheal, my network marketing company just showed us how to prevent hangnails by going paperless!”
“Cool, Bernie, but I got this from doing too many dishes and now my cuticles are dried out, too.”
“I’ll put you in a beautiful 1979 Pontiac Bonneville!”
“Funny you should mention that, our newest product is a dish detergent that eliminates the need for hands.” Bernie is getting excited now, “the dishes do themselves and put themselves away! Let me get you the order form!”
“Bernie, I thought you went paperless…”
“Micheal, I had some left over and didn’t want to waste a couple of trees for nothing. Go get your checkbook.”
When a marketer signs up for a social network, you are going to get bombarded…
“Thanks for following me – buy my stuff!” I actually get those kinds of direct messages automatically sent to me when I start following them. Funny thing is, those same people wonder why they start out really growing fast and then it levels off with more people leaving than coming in.
I have found that this is very true of a large percentage of people who are signing up for Bill Crosby’s Twitter Traffic Machine. To prove it, I am going to create 2 accounts in the same niche. Everything is going to be the same except that on one account, I am going to follow the method exactly as Bill Crosby teaches it and on the other, I am going to add the Social Net Effect strategies to build relationships and actually talk to people.
